In connection with the transition to the new library system, the amended Library Regulations state that registration for Masaryk University library and information services is recorded in the MU Information System (IS MU) and that a registered user is someone who has electronically registered in the relevant registration application within the IS MU.

In addition to this technical adjustment, the amendment grants persons with selected types of study interruption the same rights as students. Specifically, this means that if a student's studies are interrupted by the dean, until the date of the State Final Examination, or due to recognized parenthood, they may continue to use library services free of charge with the same borrowing limits as a currently enrolled student.
