Masaryk University Libraries do not have a central library. They consist of eight libraries serving the educational and research needs of individual faculties, a specialised library designed for students with specific needs, the library of the University Centre in Telč and the Library Systems and Open Science Department of the Institute of Computer Science, which ensures the operation and development of information technologies and systems for the needs of the MU Libraries.
